THE DESIGN PROBLEM

As Hyphen scaled, inconsistent CAD and release practices made design control increasingly important. I developed and implemented standardized CAD/PLM workflows connecting Onshape and Arena, covering part data, BOMs, revision control, and production release.

IMPLEMENTATION

Defining the workflow was only part of the project. I translated the process into engineering documentation that could be used during everyday product development.
