PROBLEM STATEMENT Develop a compact, modular dispensing system capable of reliably portioning a variety of ingredients.
IDEATION EXPLORE BROADLY, THEN CONVERGE
DESIGN, BUILD, TEST, REPEAT.
PRODUCTION VALIDATION
Evaluated T0 and T1 injection-molded components through fit checks, assembly, and functional testing.
DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURING & TOOLING
Transitioned successful prototypes into production-ready injection-molded components, working directly with suppliers to resolve draft, wall thickness, parting lines, gating, ejection, and tooling constraints.
FINAL SYSTEM
6 primary dispenser architectures. Handles 1042 unique ingredients and more.
Led the mechanical development from initial concepts through CAD, prototyping, testing, DFM, supplier collaboration, tooling, validation, and production release.
